My wife and I went on a coach trip there while on a week's holiday in Austria maybe 40+ years ago. It was June. ALL those mountains were solid white with snow all the way up (complete with a mountaineering party on their way up high!) and those lakes in the valley bottom were proper glacier. IIRC I think the ice was quite thick & crevassed and made it a lot higher than it seems here. Global warming?

how was driving highways with the 400? My misses bought one and we like to do some trips. ( i drive my own motorcycle, wich is a 1200)
Absolutely no problem, but when it’s hot you need to check oil level more frequently when riding on high rpms
My wife recently purchased a Burgman 400. I also ride it regularly, and last weekend I thought that it could be a nice travel motorcycle. I came across this video by chance. Inspiring. I hope the Ukrainian is doing well. Greetings from the Netherlands

Hello there! As I see per fitment chart you need this one: brakeawayproducts.com/product/7cp05/
Little bit additional info. Looks like Breakaway slightly changed their products & marking. I was using 6CP02 as I remember, but now per chart it was replaced. It's strange that they don't have handlebar diameter in their chart, but for Burgman it's 22mm or 7/8”. So again per chart it should be 7CP02 or 7CP05. You may want to drop them a message or call to double check which one will suit better

Hey Jim! Glad you found this useful. But I consider buying updated chambers in future, they don’t have this issue with punctures, at least not so bad
@@Igizeh You have any ideas where I could purchase them in the States. I fixed them both with a vinyl repair kit, but one hole was on a seam. I’m not sure that will hold long. Thanks.
@@jimbob4456 Tucano Urbano don’t have their stores in USA, so there 3 options I see: 1) drop a question to reseller which works with Tucano asking if they can bring tubes to you. I see that at least Vespa Portland shop have 2 positions selling in US 2) drop a message directly to Tucano Urbano support asking if they can send you tubes and how much will it cost (note: there are 3 tubes sizes (62, 72 or 82 cm), for R159 termoscud you will need 82 cm) 3) buy from Italian shop / european shop / eBay.it , most of them have international shipping
Hi Alexei , I bought a 400 (2008) a couple of years ago. The last time I rode it all the coolant escaped and I parked it and haven't ridden it since. Its been 18 months so your videos are inspiring me to get mine back on the road
Hey Faisal! I had coolant leakage when mine was brand new (around 200 km on odometer). Problem was in loosen collar on coolant hose on a left side of the scooter. It was easy 1-hour fix near garage with 1 screwdriver, so get yours back on a road!

Hello Kostas. Unfortunately I have no codes, my dealer looked up for me per their catalog from manufacture. But I believe it was Braking S3 series with codes S38XXX www.braking.com/pub/media/catalog/1-2-3_s3_schede.jpg You need to keep in mind that all disks are suitable for ABS. Hope it helps

Hey! No, those mirrors suck. I replaced them back with original Burgman mirrors
in the big pocket you can put in a special warming pillow that is connected with a powerbank, to warm your upper legs. you can order it at tucano.
What is your average consumption my friend? I have a motorcycle Honda VFR 800 and I think to change it for a maxi scooter. Majesty ot Burgman 400.What is your petrol consumption l/km?
In a city around 4.5l / 100 km. if I do suburban / highway riding - down to 3l/100km

Nop, I’m not. I’m from Moldova and Ukraine is fighting for us as well. But I’m regularly donating to Ukrainian army and asking others to do it as well, so they can kill more efficiently and end this war quicker
